Our PAWS dedicated team is always here for your pets. Our family owned Woodend based veterinary clinic provides modern, professional and affordable health care for your beloved pets.

What began as an overgrown paddock on the north side of Geraldine is now a busy vet clinic servicing both companion animals and livestock. The section on ‘Honey Corner’ was previously an empty section with a few resident woolly lawnmowers. After some massive family working bees, the transformation began. Conscious of providing work to local trades-people we used only Geraldine contractors for everything from the landscaping to the plastering of our purpose built clinic. Work was completed in the autumn of 2013 and we officially opened on 5th April of that year.

At The Vet, we understand what you and your four-legged friend want. We will always treat you and your pet with the same focused, loving service as we would wish for.

The impressive brick and concrete building we work out of is the old Eltham Courthouse, opened in 1908 by then Prime Minister, Sir Joseph Ward. It was purchased by this organisation after closure by the Department of Justice in 1951 and is now classified as an Historic Place. Our fully stocked shelves contain all your animal health needs for large and small animals. Open plan, and easy to find what you're looking for, there is always someone ready to help you decide what you need. We recently (winter 2019) renovated and earthquake strengthened our reception, retail and consultation area in the old historic courthouse building and added an extra consultation room to allow for the increasing amount of companion animal work we are doing.
